2nd Sunday of Easter / Divine Mercy Sunday (Old Rite: Low Sunday)

For this week's Masses - Click Here
Solemn Easter Vespers: 5pm Sundays until 15 May

Divine Mercy Sunday: is a modern Devotion propagated by Blessed Faustina, a Polish Nun, who experienced revelations from our Blessed Lord. She died before the Second World War & for several decades the revelations were under investigations by the Church authorities. During the Pontificate of John Paul II, he promoted this devotion which is now spread throughout the world & is recited every day at St Bede’s after the daily Rosary.

Michael Murphy RIP: Some of you will remember this tall man with white hair & glasses who sat in the back row on Saturdays at 6pm. He was a volunteer at the British Home for Incurables and although he lived at Du Cane Court, always asked me if he could have his funeral at St Bede’s.  After making some enquires, the police have told us he was found dead in his flat on 29th Jan. Pray for him and PLEASE if you have special requests for your funeral, please let your family & friends know exactly what you want & where to find your documentation.
